Happy 2020 and we’re halfway through January already. Today was one of the first really cold mornings, the primroses were all frosty and Saint Giles Church stood shrouded in mist.
As mentioned in last months inspirations I’ve taken several online courses and this year is about setting intentions and putting them into practice. Developing the business side of an art career is ongoing and I’m enjoying learning more about it. Those of you who have been following my work here or on social media have seen things evolve… so far I’m enjoying
A wonderful year of exhibitions is planned for the year ahead and I’m excited to announce my second solo exhibition at Salthouse Church on the North Norfolk coast opening in July.
This year is about developing a different approach to how l work, although it’s far too early to share these techniques at the moment. Here’s one tip for developing a richer body of work – try mixing colours such as Naples Yellow and Dioxazine Purple – now that’s an interesting combination of complementary colours. Try it and see!
Five new dates for my art workshops and they’re filling up fast. If you’re interested in joining me for a day of creativity click here to sign up to subscribe to my monthly newsletter.
More inspirations to follow next month…
