Are looking for something special and unique for your home or office?
Then a commission may be just the thing. Commissions are very personal and it’s an exciting process to create a bespoke painting that will bring a room to life. There is nothing I enjoy more. A commission offers you, the client, the opportunity to discuss your ideas in detail, to create a painting that will perfectly suit the interior of the room and meet your vision. The aim is to work closely with you, ensuring you are part of the creative process.
I want you to feel confident in my ability to create something that perfectly compliments your home or office.
Costs for a commission vary depending on what is required. I usually ask for a down payment before I begin with which to cover the initial discussion and the materials. I also accept instalment payments during the commission process and am happy to discuss this with you.
A commission usually takes 6 – 10 weeks, depending on my schedule. However, if you have a specific deadline, please let me know as I’d be happy to discuss this with you. To inquire about commissioning a painting, please contact me.
‘I feel blessed that I’m able to enjoy your gift through these three paintings, Thank You.’ Kim P. Suffolk
‘Tracey was commissioned to provide artwork for our newly refurbished offices in Norwich. We had a theme, the beaches of Norfolk, but we needed direction and inspiration. Tracey understood the brief immediately and guided us in all aspects of the commission from scale, tone and style to framing and hanging. We are delighted with what has been achieved. Her work encapsulates the charm and character of the subject whilst setting the contemporary and fresh feel we sought. The works create very real impact and are a regular talking point. We could not be more delighted.’ Nigel Farthing, Birketts, Norwich.
‘My beautiful triptych takes pride of place thanks to the artistic talents of Tracey. I had visited her Open Studios on several occasions and admired the ethereal nature of her seascapes. I had never commissioned art work before and was a little unsure about how to go about approaching Tracey, however once I did, I felt very reassured by her. I knew that I wanted to maintain her characteristic style, so then we talked about colour schemes, horizon positions, shape and colour of the frames, their title and my budget. Tracey set to and forwarded a copy of her sketches, straight away I fell in love with them. A week or so later I was taking delivery of my three paintings, including flashes of gilding to the crests of the waves. They fit in so perfectly and they finish the room off beautifully.’ Dawn S.
‘I came across Tracey’s work via Google and was struck by how sensitively it evokes the drama and scale of the Norfolk landscape. I commissioned her to paint a piece inspired by the landscape at Burnham Overy Staithe – a place where my now wife, Flora, and I spent time together early in our relationship. Tracey was very sensitive from the off. She humoured my provision of photos and other artworks (next to which hers now hangs) as guidance for colour palette and ‘feel’, she allowed me to be very specific about canvas and frame size and she was also very open about timescale, given the number of other commissions she was working on at the time. I am a big fan of Tracey’s work and would recommend her highly. As all our communications have been by phone or email, I hope to actually stop by her studio next time I’m in Norfolk!’ Sam M.
