Ordering

How is payment taken?

Payments are taken through PayPal at the checkout. If you do not have a PayPal account then payments can be taken via a bank transfer. We not store any debit/credit card details.

 

Shipping

Once I have placed my order, how soon will it be posted?

In the UK I aim to pack and ship orders within five working days. It usually takes two working days for delivery, so best to allow seven working days in total. Within the UK paintings are usually sent by Royal Mail or a courier depending on weight and size.

Shipping outside the UK

I am happy to ship to most countries, however, due Covid-19 and the recent restrictions I will need to provide you with a quote. I will aim to provide the most cost effective quote available for your painting. Overseas shipping (outside the UK) may be subject to taxes and any import duties depending on the laws of the destination country. Please be aware this may incur additional charges which are at the customer’s expense. We accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs of large artworks will need to be quoted for individually – please contact me before purchasing. However, if you purchase online to secure a painting, the checkout price may not be enough to cover the shipping cost. In this case, any extra shipping will be billed for separately as it will require a bespoke courier service. Shipping costs contribute towards covering packing supplies, such as having wooden crates especially made to ship internationally, labour and transit fees.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

If you live in Norfolk you are welcome to collect directly from my studio, however, due to Covid-19 and any lockdown restrictions it is best to ship your artwork.

 

Returns

I want you to be completely happy with your artwork but if there is an issue with your order please email me within 7 days of delivery. If a return has been agreed, you will need to repack the painting and ship it using the same service with which it was sent to you. Once the paintings has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days minus the shipping cost and payment fees.  At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on artworks shipped out of the UK.

Paintings

I use canvas, wooden panels or boards to paint on. I work mainly with mixed media, using acrylic paint. Occasionally I like to work in oil and cold wax.  Each piece is varnished with a professional a UV varnish to protect it.

Framing

All of the paintings are sold framed, unless specified. They are strung on the back and are ready to hang in your home.

Works on Paper are sold mounted but not framed. This is due to the risk of glass being broken during transit.

Gift Vouchers

I do offer gift vouchers – please feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to design a digital gift voucher especially for you.

Commissions

I’m happy to undertake a commission and create a special painting, just for you. The best way to do this is to get in touch to discuss what you have in mind, such as the size, colours and if it’s of a certain place. Or if you’ve seen something on my website that’s sold and you’d like something similar I can recreate it. I usually take a non-returnable deposit to cover the cost of materials etc. This is deducted from the overall agreed price. I will endeavour to complete the commission with 4 to 6 weeks depending on work commitments. The commission price doesn’t include shipping.
